The Regal was the third and final set of binoculars I designed for Celestron. The process consisted of ergonomic testing as well as studying the target user's application, birdwatching. Since most of the sales were web based, the project's management weighed heavily towards defining a style, a showpiece for birdwatchers. I studied Swarovski, Leica, Zeiss and brought in elements of their design language to help create Celestron's new luxury brand binoculars.
